If you're looking for a taqueria that gives you a ton of meat then you've found the one. Eduardo's has a good selection of meat with lots of flavor. The staff is kind and they get your order out pretty quickly. The seats are usually taqueria seating with wide spread tables and TVs inside. One thing to note is that you do have to pay for the chips which is kind of a bummer. Overall, a pretty solid place to get tacos!

TLDR: Best Cali Burrito for sure. One of the best burritos ever. I'm so sad I'm late to the Cali Burrito party. Only now, I have realized how much I needed to have french fries IN MY BURRITO! I'm sure it might sound disgusting to a burrito purist... but I'm also the guy who loves a good california roll as well. What can I say, I'm just a cali guy! Now, I'm an ABC... and not an expert in mexican cusine at all. So if you are looking for a review from a "local", I'm not it. But I do these reviews for myself, and as a way to remind myself of places I like. I love this place! I ordered the grilled chicken california burrito (the last part is an important distinction). Unlike a normal burrito, it comes with sour cream, guacamole, and FRENCH FRIES. Oh, it also comes with beans, but I tell them to remove it. I don't like beans. The chicken was SO flavorful! I was really surprised how I could taste the grill. It had a really nice char to it. And the french fries add such a welcome crunch/texture. Normally burritos are just all soft and mushy all the way through. But the french fries add a nice contrast. It was really really great. Now, I'm on the hunt for more California Burrito places! Because this was my first time trying it, I have to say this was the best I've ever had! For that, I give it 5 stars. The first experience of anything is always so so special. Don't ask me about salsas, I found them a bit too spicy for me anyway.

Updating to say: I've eaten here like twice a week since 2018 and I've never had a bad experience. If anything happens to Taqueria Eduardo I'll cry deeply. Burritos the size of a small child are great, the tacos are great, the service is great, and their coca cola from the machine may be better than McDonald's.

Taqueria Eduardo is a authentic tasting Mexican place in San Jose. Don't be put off by the rather gruff looking exterior, the food makes up for the atmosphere. One could tell by the other clientele eating there that this is a legit Mexican restaurant. I ordered three tacos of different flavors, while my friend ordered a fajita plate - which I will say was huge. The interior, while definitely low frills, was clean. Service was fast food-esque, but polite. They have a salsa bar where one may choose freely the type of salsa they want and the spiciness. If you are in search of some authentic Mexican street style cuisine, then you have to try Eduardos.

Delicious. I came here for lunch on a weekday and as soon as the close hit noon, there were many people that came in on their lunch break. Thankfully I beat the rush by merely a few minutes and quickly ordered my tacos. You order at the cashier, get a number, and are given a few salsa containers to help yourself at the self-serve salsa bar. I enjoyed the avocado one but the others were delicious as well. The grilled jalapeños here are spicy! You've been warned. The ambiance is very casual. I got my order to-go so I never got to experience eating here but the restaurant seems very spacious with plenty of seating.

My go to Taqueria when in San Jose. The quality of portions is consistent for over six years . Construction has been completed and they've added multiple indoor seatings. Salsa bar hits the spot . Authentic spot.
